AFAB Industrial was founded in 1995 renting a 4000 sq. ft. building in Bensalem, PA. At the time, it seemed like such a large space. The building was empty for about three years before we rented it. The landlord didn’t have a key for the front door so we gained access through a broken side window. We spent the first month cleaning and painting the facility. The local Home Depot a mile up the street knew us by name. We re-did the inside and outside of the building and the township remarked how they could not believe how nice we had made the facility. Humorously, our landlord remarked he should have charged us more rent.

Many of the original six employees who participated in this start-up still work for the company. Without them, AFAB would be nothing.

 AFAB’s founder attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Upon graduation in 1979, he started his first business within three days with a set of tools, an old car, and a $2000 loan from his Dad. It wasn’t very common in  those days to graduate college and start your own business. Now, Drexel University has an Entrepreneurship program as a major. Times have changed.

 AFAB initially started as a cleaning chemical manufacturer. This grew into cosmetics, dietary supplements, chain link fence manufacturing, plastic additives, machine manufacturing, and natural plant extraction. We exclusively own a manufacturing facility in China as well as facilities on the West Coast of the United States.

We are an engineering company first. We take ideas and concepts and turn them into reality. This website will give you an overview of what AFAB is involved in and the current projects for the company. We take what we do seriously; but you won’t find a lot of formality. Nobody wears a suit and tie here. This is not a huge corporate group with layers of administration. We pride ourselves on being “old school” with our work ethic and diligence.
